TNPSC AE
Every year Tamilandu State Government recruit Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical,….Engineering graduates as Assistant Engineers (AE) through Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) in. Depend upon the vacancies the number of posts varies. The pay scale is 31,900 + perks.
The selection process is through written examination.
Paper – 1 is respective core field and Paper – 2 is General science and Aptitude. There is a separate weightage for Interview and records.

SSC JE
Every year Staff Selection Commission recruit Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical,….engineers as Junior Engineers for various Departments. The pay scale is Rs. 25000 + perks.
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of total marks in the written examinations. Paper 1 – General Intelligence, General Awareness and General Engineering. The candidates who qualify the Paper 1will be allowed to appear for Paer 2. Paper 2 – Core paper. Those candidates who qualify the written exams will be called for personal interview. Those who are finally recruited will be under probation for a period of two years. During the period they would be required to complete the tests and pass such examinations. Once the probation period is over, they will be confirmed to their post.
